Our work

Our projects

HIV and AIDS remains a significant problem in many parts of the developing world.

Our partners in Ethiopia, Kenya, Lesotho, the Solomon Islands and South Africa continued to play a pivotal role this year in addressing the problem of HIV and AIDS and bringing about life-saving behavioural changes among their local communities.

On the Thai/Burma border our partner is providing income generating programs for Karen refugees living with HIV and AIDS.

Also in Ethiopia the Afar Pastoralist Development Association continues to deliver life-changing programs around health and literacy for the Afar nomads.

In the Palestinian Territories AngliCORD’s partner the Anglican Al Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City, continues to provide emergency medical treatment for people living in this poverty-stricken and war-torn region.

The Institute for Healing of Memories (IHOM) in South Africa runs life-changing workshops for individuals and communities dealing with trauma and guilt.

Anglicord is also engaged in two exciting and innovative programs around solar lighting: Solar 4 Schools in Tanzania and Solar Lights Entrepreneurs in the Solomon Islands.
