Support the Afar people

AngliCORD aims to send at least $150,000 to support Val’s efforts through Afar Pastoralists Development Association over the next year. Your gifts – large or small – will help us meet this goal to save lives and empower Afar people through literacy.

Community health worker: $2,240

APDA were shocked to discover that 1 in 3 Afar children die before they reach 5 – most from easily preventable diseases. Community health workers are now provided with 6 months training and a medical kit, and sent out across the region to provide basic home-based health care, address outbreaks of disease quickly and promote improved hygiene – saving hundreds of lives each year. donate now
