Cycle and Trek through Thailand - for a great cause!

In 2009 we are inviting you to have the time of your life and support refugees on the Thai-Burma Border.

Get started cycling through small alleys and lanes of the real Bangkok – before boarding a sleeper train for the beautiful north.

Trek through the rural highlands and along village tracks to visit minority hill tribes, sleep on the floor of a simple bamboo house, and gain a unique glimpse into a very different way of life.

Then enjoy a relaxing 3 day bike ride around the Chiang Dao Valley, cycling along quiet country roads through rich farmland under the gaze of the impressive Chiang Dao Mountain.

Prepare for a life-changing experience during a 2 day visit to refugee camps that are home to thousands of people who have fled the brutal, authoritarian regime in Burma.

You will hear first-hand about life inside Burma, meet humanitarian aid workers who are providing a life-line to people living in the camps, and see where the funds you have raised are making a real difference for people caught up in this conflict.

Do I have to be a professional cyclist?

No! It is recommended that you prepare for both cycling and trekking on this tour – but you don’t have to be a professional cyclist. All riding abilities are catered for and a back-up vehicle accompanies the tour. Bikes with Shimano gears are supplied.

How much does it cost?

$500 then you fundraise $6,000 which covers the cost of your trip and includes a substantial donation to AngliCORD.

Raising funds is a rewarding part of the challenge, and many participants often exceed the target! Chris Harrison from Memorable Challenges will help you reach your goal.

You also have the option to pay you own trip costs and raise a smaller amount.
