Ms Misha Coleman
Misha has extensive experience in aid and development and has worked in a number of countries including Vietnam, Cambodia, Papua New Guinea and the Philippines. Previously she worked as the Sustainability Manager for World Vision Australia. She has also worked for the Australian Government’s aid agency AusAID, and has led Asian Development Bank and US Government aid projects. She has a Masters degree in Environmental Law and post-graduate qualifications in development studies along with qualifications in midwifery and nursing. In 2000 she was awarded the Australian Service Medal by the Australian Government for active duty in the Multinational Peacekeeping Mission to Bougainville. In 2007 she was awarded two medals by the Government of Vietnam for services to agricultural and fisheries development in Vietnam.

INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM MANAGER
Jo Maher
Jo has worked in a range of Health and International Development organisations and has qualifications in Nursing, Anthropology, Health Promotion and Business Management. Past experience includes managing clinical services for Family Planning ACT, Reproductive Health Technical Assistant to the Lao PRD, Rural Women’s Project and Country Manager Solomon Islands and Vanuatu for Australian Volunteers International. Jo has a particular interest in women’s health and environmental protection, being in the great outdoors, family and music.

AFRICA PROGRAM MANAGER
Phillip Walker
Phillip Walker has over two decade’s professional experience as a development practitioner in Africa, Asia and the Pacific both in the field and Head Office.
He has worked on programs involved with integrated water resource management and has an abiding interesting in climate change, particularly the impacts on vulnerable communities. Phillip has worked for NGOs, humanitarian organisations, in the private sector and owned his own business. He has successfully implemented contracts for a range of donor agencies including AusAID, USAID, DfID and the AsDB.

PACIFIC AND SOLAR PROGRAM MANAGER
Kate Higgins
Kate has worked on development projects in the SolomonIslands and India and on several community development projects in Australia. She holds Bachelor Degrees in both International Studies (Hons) and Social Sciences and has published on development issues in the Solomon Islands. Kate is passionate about poverty alleviation and social justice issues relating to the Pacific.

Beth Hookey
Beth has extensive corporate knowledge of Anglicord, its partners and programs. She was a member of the Inaugural Board of the Archbishop of Melbourne’s International Relief and Development Fund (now Anglicord) formed in 1988; served as Executive Officer from 1992-2001; then Program Officer until her retirement in April 2007. Beth continues to contribute in an honorary capacity as our Small Grants Manager.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT ADVISOR
Alison Preston
Alison is an experienced communicator and campaigner on global poverty and justice. Before joining Anglicord, Alison worked as a photo-journalist in East Africa, with a focus on women and children affected by civil war in Sudan, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Alison has a strong interest in community-based trauma recovery, and is a trained facilitator with the Institute for Healing of Memories. Alison is actively engaged in the Anglican church.

Jane Still
Jane has worked in a variety of communications roles, including six years as journalist, media officer and website coordinator for the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne. She has a particular interest in online communication, having designed and managed enterprise sites, and has a broad writing portfolio. Jane is married to an Anglican priest, has six children, and is a keen road cyclist.

Suzanne Trimble
Suzanne has over 15 years experience working in Big Four accounting firms both in Australia and London. During this time her focus was on taxation and software development for large corporate entities. She holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and has been a Chartered Accountant since 1996. Suzanne likes to spend her spare time travelling to new destinations, pilates and playing golf.

Melissa Zhao
Melissa has extensive experience in accounting both in Australia and China within a wide range of private sector organisations. Melissa is an Associate Member of accounting body CPA and holds a Master of Commerce and Master or International Business from the University of Sydney. She also speaks English, Mandarin, Cantonese and German. Outside of work Melissa spends most of her time with her children, though she also likes to travel and play the piano when time allows!

Kathryn Barres
Kathryn is responsible for maintaining the agency’s donor database and processing donations. Kathryn has worked in the gas and electricity industry and has experience in the legal and commercial property industries. She is an active Christian in her community of Blackburn, Melbourne and is married with three children.

Helen Boyle
Helen has 20 years experience working as an Analyst/Programmer in the IT industry in Melbourne and the UK. She holds a Higher National Diploma in Mathermatical Sciences. Helen is married with 2 daughters. Outside of work, Helen is actively involved in her local Anglican Church in Mentone and teaches and helps coordinate the Sunday School Program. Helen also enjoys travelling, and loves spending time walking her dog Kelly!

Ben Lakos
Ben has worked on youth-focused development projects in East Timor as well as a number of local community development initiatives on trade justice and refugee/asylum seeker issues. He holds a Masters in International Development and a Bachelor of Commerce. Ben is passionate about social and environmental justice issues, and in his free time enjoys gardening and other sustainable living projects.
