The Most Reverend Dr Philip Freier

Archbishop Philip Freier - AngliCORD PresidentBAppSc DipEd BD MEdSt PhD FAICD. Archbishop of Melbourne

Archbishop Freier came to Melbourne in December 2006, prior to which he had been Bishop of the Northern Territory and previously in ministry in Queensland. He has lived and worked in Indigenous communities. He is strongly committed to social justice issues and to engaging the church with the wider community.

The Ven Alison Taylor

The Ven Alison Taylor - AngliCORD ChairBA, MUP, Grad Dip Org Beh, BDiv, DipMin.

Alison Taylor is the Parish Priest of St Johns, Camberwell in Victoria and the Archdeacon of Kew. She has also been a Board Member of the Renewable Energy Authority of Victoria, Director of Tianjin Urban Conservation Project in China and a Senior Lecturer in Urban Studies at Victorian University of Technology.

Ms Misha Coleman

R.N., Grad. Dip.Mid.(Hons.), B.Soc.Sc.(SEAP), Grad.Dip.(Dev.), M.Law (Env.)

Misha has extensive experience in aid and development and has worked in a number of countries. Previously she worked as the Sustainability Manager for World Vision Australia. She has also worked for the Australian Government’s aid agency AusAID, and has led Asian Development Bank and US Government aid projects. She has a Masters degree in Environmental Law and post-graduate qualifications in development studies along with qualifications in midwifery and nursing.

Ms Lisa Brookman

Lisa Brookman is the Head of People & Culture with Big Sky Credit Union. Lisa's qualifications are BA, Post Grad Org .Psychology, MBA. Lisa has a broad range of human resources management experience, including during her time as Manager of RACV's HR Strategy and Capability.

Mr Tony Hickson

Tony is a qualified scientist and accountant, with extensive management experience during the past 40 years in two large multinational corporations and three medium sized independent schools & colleges.  In addition he has held many volunteer positions in the not-for-profit sector, including in churches and in both local and overseas mission agencies.

Mr Nic Mackay

Nic Mackay describes himself as a serial social entrepreneur, global changemaker, and "all round nice guy". He is the Co-Founder of The Oaktree Foundation and the Founder of Key Change Music. He is currently the National Program Director of High Resolves – a non-profit educational initiative that is helping Australian high school students to become global citizens and leaders who change the world for the better. Nic is a 2011 Australian Leadership Award recipient and he holds an Arts/Law degree from the University of Melbourne.

The Venerable Philip Newman

AngliCORD Board Member - Philip NewmanOAM, BD (Hons), AKC, Archdeacon Emeritus, Anglican Diocese of Melbourne.

Archdeacon Emeritus Philip Newman was formerly Archdeacon for Christian Unity and Relations with the World’s Religions for the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne.  Following a visit to Ethiopia and Sudan, he was chosen by Archbishop Penman to be the vehicle for the launch of the Archbishop of Melbourne’s International Relief and Development Fund, which became AngliCORD, and he was the Director of that body during its establishment and growth as a National organisation, from 1991 to 2001.  He remains on the Board and a member of the Development Committee.

Ms Denise Nichols

Ms Denise Nichols - AngliCORD Board memberOAM, BA (Hons), Cert.Welfare Studies

Denise is a consultant in international development, undertaking field and home-based assignments. She chairs AngliCORD's Development Committee. For 20 years Denise worked in Africa, Asia, the Pacific and in Kosovo, specialising in disaster management. Denise is an Examining Chaplain, Anglican Diocese of Melbourne, and is a member of St Stephen's Warrandyte.

Mr Luke Phillips

Mr Luke Phillips - AngliCORD Board memberBA, LLB, ACIS

Luke is a Project Manager with Computershare implementing compliance and governance software.  He is a Chartered Secretary and has held compliance and governance roles in public companies after originally training as a commercial lawyer in private practice.

Ms Wendy Rose AM

Wendy has over 25 years experience in the development sector, including 15 years as CEO of Save the Children Australia. She is a member of the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID) Executive Committee and the recipient of the 2007 ACFID Contribution to the Sector Award for exceptional commitment to improving the quality of Australia's overseas aid sector. Wendy is also a founder and the first President of the International Women’s Development Agency.

Mr Frank Scerri

AngliCORD Board Member - Frank ScerriFrank is Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Mission Travel Group. He has more than seventeen years experience in the travel industry, including in retail management, brand management, business development and general management. Frank also has had broad experience in financial management, strategy, and consultancy. He is a director of the Oaktree Foundation.

AngliCORD Company Secretary - Mr David WoodsDavid is a qualified Company Secretary/CFO with experience in secretarial, legal, finance and accounting issues in medium sized companies.  His skills have been gained in listed and unlisted companies across a number of industries, working as part of the senior management team. In addition his has held a number of volunteer positions in the non-for-profit sector and is currently chairman of a community based support group.
